Parking permits for Village-owned railroad commuter lots are available for residents of the Village of Mamaroneck and for non-residents as follows:
VILLAGE RESIDENTS (Resident Railroad):
LOTS: Corner of Van Ranst Place and Jefferson
Avenue, Jefferson Avenue Lot and on Bishop Avenue
PERIOD COVERED: March 1st to February 28th (or 29th)
PERMIT COST: $ 420.00 per year or prorated based on month purchased; PROOF OF RESIDENCY REQUIRED, AS WELL AS REGISTRATION OF CAR.
NON-RESIDENTS (Non-Resident Railroad):
Parking available on Bishop St. only, from Maple Ave. to Fenimore Rd. Annual pro-rated cost is $580.00. Copy of car registration required.

WHEN: Weekdays, Monday through Friday
OFFICE HOURS: 9:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. (summer hours 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
ELIGIBILITY: Residents of the Incorporated Limits of the
Village of Mamaroneck; must show proof of residency.
REFUND POLICY: The Village does not issue refunds for parking permits.
In order to make the renewal process more convenient for commuter permit holders, preprinted renewal applications are mailed, at the end of January, to all permit holders who had permits for the prior year.
If you request a permit by mail, you must submit a photocopy of your current vehicle registration, along with the application, a stamped, self-addressed legal size envelope, and your check made payable to the Village of Mamaroneck. Those applying in person must also present their current vehicle registration. Parking application forms are available at the Police Desk, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, parking permits for the lots owned by the MTA will be issued by the operator of their lots, Allright Parking, who can be contacted for further information on availability and price at 1-888-682-PARK (7275).

General Parking Permits
General off-street parking permits (GP) are available for Village parking lots as follows:

at the Hunter Tier, (lower level and designated spaces on
upper level).

Overnight permits are also required between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 A.M. for the Hunter Lot (lower level only), Spencer Lot, Prospect Lot and Johnson Lot. If an overnight permit is purchased by a Village resident in close proximity to the Hunter Lot, Spencer Lot, Prospect Lot and Johnson Lot at the same time as a general daytime parking permit, the cost is $460.00 per year. If an overnight permit is purchased separately, the cost is $140.00 per year. Taxis can purchase an overnight parking permit for the Spencer Lot only for $ 230.00 per year.
