Court Clerk’s Office and Hours
The Court Clerk’s office is located on the second floor of Village Hall and is open to conduct Court business Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 4:30PM (except holidays). Special hours may be in effect during the summer. Payment of fines may be made at the Court Clerk’s window on the second floor.
Village Court Schedule
The Village Court is located on the first floor of the Village Hall. Court is generally in session each week on Tuesdays for vehicle and traffic matters, civil actions, small claims and Village Code matters and on Thursdays for criminal matters. Court sessions commence at 9:30AM on Tuesdays and Thursday. Court is also in session one Wednesday each month commencing at 8:00PM as needed for small claims matters. Hearings, trials and small claims proceedings may also be held on other days and at other times during the week.
Traffic violations are frequently disposed of by mail or personal appearance.
Court Schedule Changes
- Thursday, June 23, 2011 – Court regular Thursday session will commence at 11:00AM.
- Tuesday, July 26, 2011 – Court is cancelled.
- Thursday, July 28, 2011 – Court is cancelled.
- Tuesday, August 9, 2011 – The Court’s regular Tuesday morning session for vehicle and traffic matters, civil actions, small claims and Village Code matters is rescheduled to start at 7:00PM.
