Stove-top grease fires:
Always heat oil slowly over moderate heat. Never pour water on any cooking fire. Slide a lid over the pan and turn off the burner. Keep the lid on until pan is cool.
Oven fires:
Close the oven door and turn off the heat source.
Microwave fires:
Keep the door closed and unplug or turn off the microwave.
Have an ESCAPE PLAN and practice it!
