Food Scrap Recycling Program Kick-Off June 23, 2018!
The Village of Mamaroneck is excited to announce that it is instituting a Food Scrap Recycling Program, which will kick off on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 8 a.m. at the Recycling Center at 313 Fayette Avenue.

There will be Food Scrap Recycling Containers for sale for $20 (cash only, please) and staff in attendance to answer any questions until 10 a.m.  The recycling center is open until 1 p.m.

The Food Scrap Recycling Program will reduce waste in our existing waste stream and help our environment by creating healthy soil for our gardens.

The following items are for sale as part of the composting program:

Compostable Bags $2 per roll (25 bags per roll)

2 Gallon Kitchen Caddy $7

6 Gallon Travel Totes $11

$20 Starter Kits include one of each item above

These items are available for sale at the Village of Mamaroneck DPW office located across from the Recycling Yard (313 Fayette Avenue) between the hours of 7am and 3:30pm Monday through Friday. Cash only.  
You may purchase these items with a check or credit card at the Clerk-Treasurers Office located at the The Regatta, 123 Mamaroneck Avenue between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from September – June.  Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday during the months of July and August.
Items purchased at the Regatta may be picked up at the DPW office or delivered to the front door of your home at no additional cost.
