Village of Mamaroneck Police Department - Statistical Overview

Here are the links to our departments statistics.  We have organized them in such a means so that they should be easy to find.  Each page has been created in an Adobe Acrobat Portable Document File (PDF) format which makes it easy for you to download and save on your local computer.  The first link will take you to the Adobe Reader Software Page.  Here are directions that will guide you through the process to download the software for free.  For our advanced users we have compiled all of these documents in a Adobe Acrobat Portfolio that allow the user to see all of the different pages in one single document.

The pages are as Follows:

  • Monthly Reports - These reports show that statistics accumulated for that particular month.  They are then compared with last years statistics as well as a view of the two years prior year to date statistics. Those months with a line under them have been posted to the web site.  Those reports without underlines are awaiting completion.
  • Cover Sheet - This is for those users who would like to create their own statistic resource book.  Those that download the monthly reports using the basic version of Adobe Read can print this to utilize as a cover page.
  • Statistics Portfolio - This is an advance feature of Adobe Acrobat Readers latest version.  Here we bind all of the documents together into one interactive portfolio.  This way all you have to do is download one document in order to review the departmental statistics.
  • Statistical Overview - These a compilations of statistics based on a particular type of data.  The Events are the actual call volume of call requiring police actions to be taken.  These numbers reflect the volume of work the department does month to month.  We then compare these to the last three years 2006, 2007 and 2008 as well as our current year.  This allows us to look for trends that can help us be proactive in particular areas. We do overviews on Cases which relates to the work our Investigative Unit preform.  Also we  track aided or medical calls as well as accidents and the citations that were written.
