Zumba is an exercise fitness program created by Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez during the 1990s. Zumba combines Latin and International music with a fun and effective workout system.

Feeding
October 3rd-3:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
All ages
This week we will be heading out to low tide to find some crabs and mussels. Once collected the students will go back to the Marine Education Center and feed the local animals that live in the tanks!
October 4th
No classes due to High school classes at the center

Dissection
October 4th- 3:30 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
Ages 10 and up
Students with the help of our naturalist will dissect a local animal to see how they “work”. This week students will be dissecting a Sea star. There is a lot to learn from these very interesting creatures that live in our waters!
October 5th
No classes due to High school classes at the center

Seining
October 5th-3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Ages 6 and up
Children will put waders on and make collections of the brackish water habitat of the Long Island Sound. They will then observe, discuss and record what they collect.
