GENERAL DISCUSSION:

  • Vote to approve minutes from September 2019 meeting
  • Discuss board member positions (renewals, terminations, and recruitment)

-     U.S. Open Golf Tournament at Winged Foot Club June 2020 – work with Tri-Muni Sustainability Collaborative to make event “green”  (Mitch Green, Chair)

  • Update on Mosquito Control program
  • Update on Comprehensive Plan  (1st Full Draft dated 10/4)

-     Lack of Parking Near Metro North Station – potential hindrance to mass transit

  • CFTE Fall 2019 Leaf Mowing/Mulching Public Demonstrations - Katherine

SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE:

  1. The Healthy Yards Project – Use of pesticides in our village

RECYCLING SUBCOMMITTEE:

  1. Review food waste recycling program stats and discuss feasibility of curbside pickup
  2. MAS event 10/17

  1. Public comments to be allowed at the end of each meeting.

2.  Each person limited to 10 minutes unless otherwise agreed to by the CFTE.
