Halloween
Everyone loves a good scare on Halloween, but not when it comes to the safety of those little trick-or-treaters. Fortunately, there are lots of easy things parents, guardians and kids can do to stay safe on the spookiest of holidays. The Village of Mamaroneck's Police Department wants to share these top safety tips to celebrate Halloween (courtesy of the Safe Kids Worldwide).

On Halloween, children and families are encouraged to do their trick-or-treating in the Village's residential neighborhoods --- Orienta, Harbor Heights, Heathcote Hill, Rye Neck, Washingtonville, and Shore Acres ---- instead of Mamaroneck's Downtown Business District. We wish to thank the Mamaroneck Chamber of Commerce and all the participating groups and businesses in the Downtown Business District for organizing last Sunday's 10/23 Spooktacular.
