Appointments Available TODAY, Wed, 03/03 for COVID-19 Diagnostic Testing (NOT COVID-19 Vaccine Shots) at Johnston Beach Pavilion in Harbor Island Park

The COVID-19 Operations of Westchester Medical Center (WMCHealth) will once again conduct COVID-19 diagnostic testing (NOT COVID-19 Vaccine Shots) at a special, one-day only, pop-up location in the Village of Mamaroneck's Stephen E. Johnston Beach Pavilion in Harbor Island Park TODAY, Wednesday, March 3rd. This pop-up location will only be open TODAY, Wednesday, March 3rd between 10:00am and 3:00pm. Testing is by appointment only and can be made ONLINE or by phone.

Residents and the public can now register and schedule an appointment to have a COVID-19 diagnostic test.

  • ONLINE through this link --- https://www.westchestermedicalcenter.org/news/coronavirus-update-1401. The registration link is available in both English and Spanish. Once you have submitted the online form, a member from the WMCHealth COVID-19 Call Center will reach out to schedule you for an appointment.
  • BY PHONE at (914) 202-4530. Please note that calls can be voluminous and there may be extended wait times, so the public is encouraged to complete the online registration form and wait for a return call.
  • Once scheduled for an appointment, patients will receive an email invitation to join WMCHealth’s MyCare portal. Through the MyCare portal patients can obtain a copy of their results. If a patient is positive, they will also receive a phone call from the WMCHealth Covid-19 Call Center. Negative results will not be called.

Upon arrival at the Stephen E. Johnston Beach Pavilion in Harbor Island Park, the public can enter through the Pavilion’s double doors, proceed to the Blue Room for testing, and exit through the Blue Room's backdoor. If you have questions regarding the Village's parks and recreation programs, please note that for Wednesday, March 3rd, all office employees of the Parks and Recreation Department will work remotely and are available by phone and email. This is the second time the Village will host a one-day Pop-Up COVID-19 Diagnostic Testing Site. Last week, on Thursday, February 25th, close to 30 individuals visited and received COVID-19 diagnostic tests (NOT COVID-19 Vaccine Shots) at the Stephen E. Johnston Beach Pavilion in Harbor Island Park. "We were told by WMCHealth officials that this was one of their highest attended pop-up sites," said Jason Pinto, Recreation Supervisor of the Village's Parks and Recreation Department.
