We have every confidence that the Village’s Police Department will continue to be well-led under the stewardship of Lieutenant DiRuzza.”

The Village of Mamaroneck thanks Chief Leahy for his long and faithful service. His hard work, professionalism and care for residents is reflected by everyone in the Village’s Police Department. He has been an exemplary leader. Chief Leahy will be formally acknowledged with a proclamation at the Village’s Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, November 23rd, which will take place online. Residents are invited to participate via ZOOM (or view the meeting on LMC Media) to show their appreciation and thanks for Chief Leahy.

Lieutenant DiRuzza will be sworn-in by Mayor Murphy as the Village’s new Provisional Police Chief at the Village’s Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, December 7th. Residents are also invited to participate via ZOOM (or view the meeting on LMC Media).
