  • Town of Rye - Individual taxpayers, rental property taxpayers, and business entity taxpayers who are in the Town of Rye, should consult this webpage for the necessary forms, information and any contact information.

VMPDAnnouncement from the Village of Mamaroneck's Police Department

The Village of Mamaroneck’s Police Department has recently seen an uptick in the number of Larcenies in our neighborhoods. While the Village of Mamaroneck has a low crime rate, our Police Department’s Officers have heightened awareness and are always on the lookout for any suspicious activity. Still, there are a few simple things residents can do to help:

  • Please park your vehicle in a well-lit area.
  • Please make sure your vehicle and your residence are securely locked (this includes garages).
  • Make sure your alarm system is activated.
  • Make sure your key or key-fob is not left inside your vehicle.
  • And please do not leave any personal or valuable belongings inside your vehicle in plain view.

Applying these simple, common sense precautions will minimize these thefts and will discourage thieves. As always, if you see something, say something. If you have emergency, dial 9-1-1.  And if you need to contact the Village’s police department, our non-emergency phone number is (914) 777-1122.
