Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update for May 11, 2020

MAMARONECK, New York, May 11, 2020 — We offer the following announcements for today, Monday, May 11:

Every Picture Tells a Story, Every Story Paints a Picture by Mayor Tom Murphy

Village of Mamaroneck Mayor Tom MurphyDear Friends,

Pictures are worth a thousand words and our stories define who we are and what we believe. The video below was made by an AP Video student at Mamaroneck High School. She combined video and story to tell an important tale in 2 minutes. She did an amazing job!

There is so much we can’t control and we can’t fix about this pandemic but making sure no kid ever goes to bed hungry in Mamaroneck is an attainable task. You are going to get tired of me beating this drum but the goal will take constant vigilance and a dogged effort.

If you know someone who needs a hand food distribution will be happening every Tuesday at 2 pm behind Mamaroneck Avenue School.

We are getting through this together, as one community. Keep washing those hands with soap and water for 20 seconds. If you must go out practice social distancing and wear a face mask when appropriate.

Every picture tells a story, every story paints a picture!

Anyone who is hungry or is in need of food should contact the
 Larchmont/Mamaroneck Hunger Task Force (www.lmfoodpantry.org)
Or call (914) 698-3558

How To Help: If you can, please make a cash donation to help feed hungry people who are our neighbors and friends:

Courage,

Tom Murphy
Mayor, Village of Mamaroneck
