All parking regulations — including parking meters — in the Village of Mamaroneck will resume at midnight between Sunday, May 17 and Monday, May 18. [En Español]

Parking Permits

Currently parking permits are available for purchase by mail only. Those interested in purchasing a parking permit may call the Village’s Clerk/Treasurer’s office at 914-777-7722 or send an email to clerktreasurer@vomny.org. While the following two parking permits (Residential Hang Tags and GP permits) are up for renewal at this time, for information about the different types of parking permits in the Village of Mamaroneck, please visit www.village.mamaroneck.ny.us/permit-parking.

Residential Hang Tags are for designated street parking zones around the Mamaroneck Train Station (View Map Here). This is a Residential permit. If the vehicle is NOT registered to a Village of Mamaroneck address, proof of residency, such as a utility bill, deed or rental agreement, must be included.

  • Period covered:  April 1 - March 31
  • Cost - $10/tag regardless of when the tag is purchased.
  • Send check, copy of Driver's License and Vehicle Registration, to:

General Parking (GP) is for Library Lane, Johnson Avenue, East Prospect Avenue, Rear of Playhouse, Spencer Place, Bishop Avenue, and at the Hunter Tier (lower level and designated spaces on upper level).

  • Period Covered: June 1st to May 31st
  • Permit Cost: All Lots $ 550.00 per year or prorated based on month purchased for day parking 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; $575 per year or prorated based on month purchased for 24 hour a day parking and $175.00 per year or prorated based on month purchased for overnight parking 6 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Eligibility: Residents of the Incorporated Limits of the Village of Mamaroneck and/or business owners and their employees. Copy of car registration and valid driver’s license required.

Parking Meters

While all meters and pay stations still accept quarters, the Village encourages residents and drivers who frequently use Village parking meters to download and use the ParkMobile smartphone app. To download the ParkMobile app, visit www.parkmobile.io or search for “ParkMobile” on the App Store or GooglePlay on your smartphone.
