Call for Volunteers to Dig out Invasive Japanese Knotweed
at Howard Ave. and Nostrand Ave.

On Sunday, May 12th, from 10am — 1pm, with shovel or pitchfork. (Some spare tools are available.) Even 30 minutes of your time would be helpful!
Help the Committee for the Environment and our community with the creation of the Howard and Nostrand Pocket Park on the Mamaroneck River --- part of the Mamaroneck Greenway which will protect open land and help with flood mitigation in our village. For more information, please email Kate Dehais at kdehais@vomny.net. ALL volunteers must complete a waiver. To save time, download, print, read and complete the waiver HERE, and bring it with you and hand it to Ms. Dehais. Otherwise, you will need to complete one when you get there. Volunteers should wear long pants, gloves, and sturdy shoes.
