For Residential Hang Tags and General Parking (GP) Permits

Parking Permits

The following two parking permits --- Residential Hang Tags and General Parking (GP) --- are up for renewal.

Residential Hang Tags are for designated street parking zones around the Mamaroneck Train Station (View Map Here). This is a Residential permit. Residential Hang Tags MUST be hung from the rearview mirror or a parking ticket will be issued. If the vehicle is NOT registered to a Village of Mamaroneck address, proof of residency, such as a utility bill, deed or rental agreement, must be included.

  • Period covered:  April 1 - March 31
  • Cost - $10/tag regardless of when the tag is purchased.

General Parking (GP) permits allow permit holders to park in any Village of Mamaroneck parking lot, except for the railroad, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

  • Period Covered: June 1st to May 31st
  • Permit Cost: All Lots $625.00 per year or prorated based on month purchased. (Non-commercial vehicles)
  • Permit Cost: All Lots $2,400 per year or prorated based on month purchased (Commercial vehicles)
  • Eligibility: Residents of the Incorporated Limits of the Village of Mamaroneck and/or business owners and their employees. Copy of car registration and valid driver’s license required.

Purchase of these permits can be made online beginning in mid-May by clicking here. Please make sure you have copies of your proof residency, vehicle registration, and Driver's License ready for upload. (Credit card payments will be charged an additional 3% service charge and ACH direct deposit payments will be charged an additional $2.00 service fee.)

Individual who wish to purchase these permits in-person or by mail should call the Clerk-Treasurer's Office at (914) 777-7722, Mondays through Fridays, from 9:00am to 5:00 p.m. We also encourage you to purchase these permits online.

Parking Meters

While all meters and pay stations still accept quarters, the Village encourages residents and drivers who frequently use Village parking meters to download and use the ParkMobile smartphone app. To download the ParkMobile app, visit www.parkmobile.io or search for “ParkMobile” on the App Store or GooglePlay on your smartphone.
