Court Clerk’s Offices and Hours

The Court Clerk’s main office is located on the second floor of Village Hall at 169 Mt. Pleasant Avenue. Regular office hours are:

Monday - Friday:         9:00AM - 4:00PM

The Court Clerk’s office is open to the public for transacting business in-person (i.e., payment of fines, filing of documents, inquiries):

Mondays             -     9:00AM - 4:00PM (at second floor window)

Tuesdays             -    9:00AM - 1:00PM (at first floor window) / 1:00PM - 4:00PM (at second floor window)

Wednesdays        -    9:00AM -  4:00PM (at second floor window)

Thursdays           -     9:00AM -  1:00PM (at first floor window) / 1:00PM - 4:00PM (at second floor window)

Fridays                 -     9:00AM -   1:00PM (at second floor window)

Court clerks will also respond to phone inquiries at (914) 777-7710 between 9:00AM and 4:00PM Monday through Friday (except when Court is in session Tuesday and Thursday mornings).

Village Court Schedule

The Village Court is located on the first floor of the Village Hall at 169 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Mamaroneck, New York. The Court's Offices are located on the second floor.  Court is generally in session in the courtroom each week on Tuesdays for vehicle and traffic violations, landlord/tenant actions, civil actions, small claims, Village code matters and parking tickets and on Thursdays for criminal matters. Court sessions commence at 9:30 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Court may also be in session one Tuesday evening each month commencing at 8:00 PM on an "as needed" basis. Hearings, trials and small claims proceedings may also be scheduled on other days and at other times during the week.

Traffic and parking violations are frequently disposed of by mail or by personal appearance.

Payment of Fines and Surcharges

In Person:  Payment of fines and surcharges be made in person at the Court offices during hours when the Court offices are open to the public (see above). The Court accepts payment at the Court offices in person in cash (exact amounts only), by certified bank check or by USPS money order.  Payment by credit/debit card is also available at the Court offices. A processing fee will be charged for credit/debit card payments.

By Mail:  Payment of fines and surcharges for criminal, traffic and parking cases may also be made by mail addressed to:  Mamaroneck Village Court, 169 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Mamaroneck, NY 10543. Only certified bank checks and USPS money orders made payable to "Mamaroneck Village Court" may be used to pay by mail. DO NOT SEND CASH.
