GENERAL DISCUSSION:

  • Vote to approve minutes from October 2019 meeting
  • Discuss board member positions (renewals, terminations, and recruitment)
  • Update on Mosquito Control program

-     Lack of Parking Near Metro North Station – potential hindrance to mass transit

  • Leaf Mowing/Mulching Public Demonstration (11/16) – Discuss event and if we should have another one this year or next year.
  • U.S. Golf Open – Tri-Municipal effort to make the event “green”

 

SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE:

  1. The Healthy Yards Project – Use of pesticides in our village https://health.westchestergov.com/pesticide-law/neighbor-notification
  2. Solar Panels for residential use – VOM approval process
  3. Green Clubs Coalition – new effort underway to work with local area beach/yacht/golf clubs to make their operations more environmentally friendly. 

           

RECYCLING SUBCOMMITTEE:

  1. Review food waste recycling program stats and discuss feasibility of curbside pickup
  1. Love Your Food Campaign – Launched; www.loveyourfoodny.org

 

PUBLIC COMMMENT:

  1. Public comments to be allowed at the end of each meeting.

2.  Each person limited to 10 minutes unless otherwise agreed to by the CFTE.
