2022 Beach Season Ends

The 2022 Beach Season ends at 5:30pm on Monday, September 5th (Labor Day).
Starting Tuesday, September 6th, the beach gate at the Stephen E. Johnston Beach at Harbor Island Park will be open from 7:00am to dusk. Beach visitors are welcome to walk and sit on the beach when the gate is open. Please note that swimming is prohibited and the beach will not be staffed until the Summer 2023 Beach Season. Also beginning on Tuesday, September 6th, parking in Harbor Island Park is FREE.
