Walk In Appointments Available TODAY for COVID-19 Diagnostic Testing (NOT COVID-19 Vaccine Shots) at the Johnston Beach Pavilion in Harbor Island Park

9:30AM UPDATE: If ANYONE wants to get tested for any reason, you can just show up at the Pavilion. No need to make an appointment.

The COVID-19 Operations of Westchester Medical Center (WMCHealth) has partnered with Westchester County to conduct COVID-19 diagnostic testing at a pop-up location in the Village of Mamaroneck's Stephen E. Johnston Beach Pavilion in Harbor Island Park. This pop-up location will only be open TODAY, Thursday, February 25th between 10:00am and 3:00pm and will provide COVID-19 diagnostic testing (NOT COVID-19 Vaccine Shots). As of 9:30am Thursday, 02/25, we learned that walk-ins are welcome! No need to make an appointment!

The public can enter through the Pavilion’s double doors, proceed to the Blue Room for testing, and exit through the Blue Room's backdoor. If you have questions regarding this pop-up COVID-19 diagnostic test site, please contact WMC Health's COVID Operations Call Center directly at (914) 202-4530 or visit this website. PLEASE DO NOT CALL the Village of Mamaroneck or the Village's Department of Parks or Recreation.

If you have questions for the Parks and Recreation Staff, please note that for Thursday, February 25th, all office employees of the Parks and Recreation Department will work remotely and are available by phone and email. To contact the Parks & Recreation Department, please call (914) 777-7784 or email recreation@vomny.org. Parks and Recreation Department staff cannot answer questions relating to COVID-19 testing.

During a recent walk-through of the Stephen E. Johnston Beach Pavilion, WMCHealth informed the Village that future dates for this pop-up location may be booked based upon need and/or request. And depending on how well the pop-up location works, Westchester County and WMCHealth have said that the Stephen E. Johnston Beach Pavilion in Harbor Island Park may potentially serve as a COVID-19 vaccination site. (We’ll keep you posted!)
