Major Storm System Today, Wed., 04/03, through Thur., 04/04

The Village of Mamaroneck is closely monitoring the current rainstorm that is expected to continue until early tomorrow, Thursday, April 4. Current predictions call for 2-3 inches of rain. While we are not anticipating significant flooding from this rainstorm, residents should be prepared for street flooding and significant ground water accumulations.  The local rivers are currently running at lower-than-normal levels, and based on our experience with similar rain storms, we anticipate some street flooding and road closures in areas close to the Mamaroneck and Sheldrake Rivers.
