(Download the flyer and the information on this webpage as a PDF.)

Hosted by the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department, National Night Out is a FREE, annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. This year's National Night Out will take place on Tuesday, August 1, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, at Harbor Island Park. National Night Out provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Harbor Island Park & the Stephen E. Johnston Beach:

The Village’s Parks and Recreation Department wants you to know that:

  • Parking fees in Harbor Island Park will end at 4pm.
  • When the parking lot at Harbor Island Park reaches capacity, it will be closed, and vehicles will need to find legal parking on neighboring streets. Please avoid parking in any privately owned lots as vehicles may be booted or towed.

The Village’s Harbor Master will close the launching ramp to the East Basin, that is located between the Park's entrance and the Marine Education Center, from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.

Finally:

Please note that driving in and around the Village and parking may be difficult. Our thanks to the Village of Mamaroneck’s Police Department for organizing this event and for providing a safe experience for all. As always, please be mindful when parking in front of neighbors' homes. Residents who have guests staying in their homes and visiting Mamaroneck should remind their guests to avoid blocking fire hydrants, driveways, or walkways. Vehicles are not allowed to double park on Boston Post Road.

THANK YOU to all Village of Mamaroneck residents for their patience and understanding as we prepare for this event. While every effort was made to include relevant information at the time this Community Announcement was made, please note that changes and/or new developments can happen.
