Parking Permits for 2020-2021 Announcement

The Village of Mamaroneck wants to remind you that Resident Railroad (RR), Non-Resident Railroad (NRR) and Regatta Parking (RP) permit stickers that were issued for the 2019-2020 year will expire on February 29, 2020.

Individuals who currently have RR and NRR parking permits and wish to RENEW them will receive renewal applications in the mail on or after Friday, February 14, 2020. Renewals by mail can be made at any time and renewals in person can be made beginning Tuesday, February 18, 2020. Please note that beginning Monday, March 2, 2020, RR and NRR parking permits go on sale to the general public.

Individuals interested in purchasing NEW Resident or Non-Resident Parking Permits for the 2020-2021 year can purchase the parking permits listed below from the Village of Mamaroneck Clerk-Treasurer’s Office at 123 Mamaroneck Avenue (Village Hall at the Regatta) beginning on Monday, March 2, 2020.

These permit stickers are valid for one year and will expire on February 28, 2021.

The following parking permits are available for purchase:

  • Resident Railroad (RR) may be used at the following four (4) locations: (1) the corner of Van Ranst Place and Jefferson Avenue, (2) the Jefferson Avenue Parking Lot, (3) on Bishop Avenue and (4) the upper tier of the Hunter Lot on Prospect Avenue. The cost for this permit is $525.00 per year (or prorated based on the month purchased). Proof of residency in the Village of Mamaroneck is required as well as registration of car and a valid Driver’s License.
  • Non-Resident Railroad (NRR) may be used (1) on Bishop Avenue between Maple Avenue and Fenimore Road as well as (2) the upper tier of the Hunter Lot on Prospect Avenue. The cost of this permit is $900.00. A copy of car registration and a valid driver’s license are required.
  • Regatta Parking (RP) may be used by Village residents only. The cost for this permit is $260. Purchase of this permit allows the permit holder to park in the upper level garage at the Regatta. Permit holders may park their vehicles (1) in Village staff spaces from 6:00 pm to 8:00 am all days and (2) from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekends and holidays, as well as (3) park at any meter 24 hours per day.

Payments can be made by cash or check (credit card payments can be made for an additional 3% service charge) at Village Hall at the Regatta (123 Mamaroneck Avenue), Mondays through Fridays, from 9:00am to 5:00 p.m.

Please note that General Parking (GP), General Parking Industrial (GPI), General Parking Overnight (GPON), Overnight (ON), and Taxi Overnight (TAXI ON) are NOT available for purchase at this time. Sale of these permits will go on sale in mid-to-late May 2020.
