The New York Department of Environmental Conservation is having a 2-day Hunter Education Course on October 28th-October 29th, from 4:00PM-9:00PM in the Beach Pavilion at Harbor Island Park. The minimum age to attend the course is 11. Students aged 12 and up may receive their hunting license. Students under 16 must bring a permission slip signed by their parent or guardian. Students under 18 must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. There is no fee to attend class, but pre-registration is required. Seats fill up quickly, register as soon as possible.
