Village of Mamaroneck’s Clerk-Treasurer Office Receives GFOA 2022 Distinguished Operating Budget Presentation Award

The Village of Mamaroneck is delighted to announce that the Village’s Clerk-Treasurer's Office is the recipient of the 2022 Distinguished Operating Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). The Clerk-Treasurer's Office was nominated to GFOA for its 2022 Operating Budget.

"This award represents a significant achievement for the Village of Mamaroneck," said Agostino Fusco, the Clerk-Treasurer for the Village of Mamaroneck. 

In order to receive this budget award, the Village of Mamaroneck budget presentation had to fulfill nationally recognized guidelines in the following four areas:

  1. A policy document
  2. A financial plan
  3. An operations guide
  4. A communications device.

"The Village of Mamaroneck Operating Budget had to be rated 'proficient' in all four of the above categories, and in the fourteen mandatory criteria within those categories, to receive this award."

"I would like to thank the leadership of all the Village Departments, the Village Manager's Office and particularly the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office for their hard work and diligence which earned us this award!" said Village of Mamaroneck Mayor Tom Murphy. "I want to personally congratulate Clerk-Treasurer Agostino Fusco for his sage financial guidance and his long dedication to the fiscal health of our Village! It was my pleasure to appoint him to another term during the December 5th Organizational Meeting and I am confident that, with his guidance, we will be in good hands for years to come."
