Memorial Day - All Non-Emergency Village Offices Closed

All Non-Emergency Village offices are closed in honor of Memorial Day. There will be no garbage, organic, food scrap*, rubbish, or recycling collection on Monday, May 27. The Recycling Center, including the Compost Drop-Off Program, at 313 Fayette Avenue is closed and the Marine Education Center at Harbor Island Park is also closed.

The American Legion Post 90's Memorial Day Parade and Observances will take place on Sunday, May 26. For information about that event, click here.

*For our Monday food scrap subscribers in the Harbor Heights neighborhood: Because All Non-Emergency Village offices are CLOSED on Monday, May 27, THERE WILL BE NO FOOD SCRAP COLLECTION. THE COMPOST DROP-OFF PROGRAM AT 313 FAYETTE AVENUE WILL ALSO BE CLOSED ON MONDAY, MAY 27.

In preparation for May 27, please note that the Food Scraps Drop Off Program at 313 Fayette Avenue will be open from Monday, May 20, through Friday, May 24, from 7:00am to 3:30pm, on Saturday, May 25, from 9:00am to 1:00pm, and again on Tuesday, May 28, from 7:00am to 3:30pm.

While not as convenient as pick-up, we hope you will consider making alternative arrangements to drop off your food scraps. Otherwise, your next food scraps collection will be on Monday, June 3.
